The first step of our patent-pending process is to soak nuts in purified water, which activates germination or ‘sprouting’. This process triggers the nuts to shed phytic acid. Phytic acid blocks human digestive enzymes such as pepsin, trypsin, and amylase from doing their job. With the phytic acid gone, our bodies can more easily absorb the natural nutrients in nuts such as calcium, iron, and zinc. Additionally, sprouting leaves the nuts with a hollow core.

Next, we expertly dehydrate the sprouted nuts below 150F, allowing us to remove all moisture while maintaining nutrient-density. Roasting at high temperatures destroys many nutrients found in nuts. Because the core is hollowed out from sprouting, the dehydrating gives our nuts a truly Unique Crunch!

We then use clean ingredients (no added sugars or preservatives + minimal to no oil) to flavor our snacks.

Our process makes nuts more nutrient dense and easier to digest than raw or roasted nut snacks. And it makes our nuts Uniquely Crunchy™! Below is a graphic comparing raw, roasted, and sprouted almonds. 

Sprouting is the first step in our process at Daily Crunch. To sprout nuts, you must soak them in water for at least 24 hours, allowing them to germinate and shed phytic acid. The result is a more nutrient-dense and easy to digest nut.

With the core of the nut hollowed out and all moisture removed, our crunch is truly … unique. It’s been described as light, airy, even “fun” to experience! You can expect no oily film in your mouth or residue left on your fingers.

We use real + simple ingredients in our snacks -- nothing you won’t recognize or can’t pronounce! At Daily Crunch, clean means no sugar, additives, preservatives, or oils. We are working towards being completely oil + sugar free, with exceptions detailed below.

Our Cherry Berry Nut Medley contains minimal amounts of oil + sugar for the dried fruits only. No oil or sugar is used for the nuts in the mix. We are working to source dried fruits without the added oil + sugar.

Our Nashville Hot has minimal amounts of oil to bind ingredients to almonds. We are currently working to source a non-oil based binding agent.

While it depends on where you’re located, your order typically will ship out within 1-2 days from when you place it, and arrive within 3-5 days from when it ships.

We source our almonds from a family farm, Treehouse Growers Farms, based in California. Treehouse has ultra-efficient + solar-powered irrigation systems in place which generate more “crop for the drop”. The farm is also bee-friendly certified and upholds a zero-waste policy which ensures that no part of the almond, even byproduct, goes unused. Treehouse is also a member of the California Almond Sustainability Program.

Outside of our sustainable sourcing, we use post-consumer recycled materials for our packaging. We are passionate about preserving the earth we share, and are always looking for ways to be more environmentally friendly.
