Most people aren’t aware of all the differences between raw and roasted almonds (it goes beyond texture). Throw sprouted almonds into the mix and … even more questions arise. As the Daily Crunch Snacks dietitian, I’ve broken down the differences in the simple chart below. 

There are three categories that distinguish raw, sprouted, and roasted almonds from one another.

1) Texture and Taste

2) Nutrient Content and Availability

3) Digestibility (think gut health)

Below, you can view a chart that details how each almond type measures up in each category. I scored each almond type in every category accordingly.
