Daily Crunch Snacks is proud to partner with The Support Network (TSN), which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps to address and promote student mental health and well-being through the launch, development, and collaboration of peer support initiatives in high schools and colleges.
The Support Network was established in 2018 following the growth and recognition of Wolverine Support Network (WSN) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. The original student organization (WSN) was founded in 2015 by a group of students who recognized the social stigmas, financia burdens, power dynamics, and timing inconveniences often associated with discussing student mental health.
Simply put, their solution was honest and open peer-to-peer dialogue.
Diane Orley, Daily Crunch Snacks Co-Founder, lost her son, George, to mental illness in 2013. Diane’s strength and compassion assisted the founding leadership team that moved WSN from an idea into a reality. Today, TSN continues to empower college and high-school students across the country to create inclusive communities and support each other’s identities, well-being, and day-to-day lives through peer-facilitated groups and bi-weekly community events.
Daily Crunch Snacks continues to amplify The Support Network’s mission to empower students by donating a portion of proceeds to their organization and organizing fundraising events within the Crunch community on their behalf.
